A Journey of Challenges and Growth as a baby penguin

Yes, it has taken me a while to write again. You know how it goes when you start a project, like painting, and leave it halfway. That's me sometimes. So here I am, continuing my story about becoming a freelancer in Finland (My experience).

Back then, I was still a university student, just finishing up my internship. I had heard about "light entrepreneurship," but I had no clue what it meant. It was like being a baby penguin learning how to walk. That's when I decided to enroll in an entrepreneurship class in Finland. Of course, this was during the pandemic, and my attention span could be easily distracted in seconds.

Despite the challenges, I dove into the class and started learning more about entrepreneurship. That's when I stumbled upon a website offering free light entrepreneurship services. Yes, you heard that right, free registration and software usage. However, they would take a commission from each invoice I sent to clients. It was a risk, but I registered without hesitation.

Was I scared? Absolutely. The language barrier and my student status added to the uncertainty. But I pushed forward. I started contacting businesses through emails and Instagram, offering free trials to showcase my skills. I even provided two-week trials or even more, unaware of my pricing as a first-time entrepreneur.

This story will continue. So please stay tuned, and thank you for your patience in advance.
